Message

Commissioner, Nidhi Pandey, IIS
Dear Students, Teachers, and Parents,
On the momentous occasion of Foundation Day 2024 of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), I extend my heartfelt greetings to each one of you. From its humble beginnings in 1963, KVS has grown into an inspiring institution of excellence in school education. This remarkable journey continues to evolve, driven by an unwavering spirit of innovation and progress.

Mrs. Shahida Parveen
Deputy Commissioner
Heartfelt greetings and congratulations to all on the auspicious occasion of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Foundation Day. As we celebrate the glorious Diamond Jubilee of our prestigious organization, it fills us with immense joy, enthusiasm, and pride to reflect upon the remarkable journey we have undertaken together. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the pivotal role this esteemed organization plays in fostering national unity, humanity, and prosperity through the power of education. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is committed to nurturing the holistic development of students, ensuring a uniform curriculum and educational standards across all its schools throughout India. The 69 Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Mumbai Region uphold this commitment by placing a strong emphasis on imparting life skills and fostering harmony through child-centric learning activities. At KVS, our motto is: “Hiranmayen Patren Satyasyapihitam Mukham Tat Tvam Pushannapavrunu Satyadharmay Drishtaye.” Pupils must therefore acquire the knowledge and perspective necessary to overcome the allure of falsity and embrace Satyam Shivam Sundaram through the transformative power of education. As education continually evolves, KVS remains committed to adapting to change. All Kendriya Vidyalayas are currently implementing the New Education Policy-2020, a policy for the revitalization of India in the global context. It aligns with the needs of the times, society, and national culture. In addition to academic pursuits, activities such as sports, music, art, and dance are integral parts of Kendriya Vidyalayas’ curriculum. Utilizing our resources and the dedication of our teachers and staff, students are offered numerous platforms to shape their futures. As we embark on this journey forward, let us reaffirm our commitment to nurturing the next generation of responsible, compassionate, and empowered citizens. Together, let us continue to strive for excellence and contribute towards building a brighter future for our nation. With best wishes, Shahida Parveen

"EDUCATION IS THE ADJUSTMENT WITH THE ENVIRONMENT" At K V O F Ambajhari, we engage students in an educational journey that will support them in developing academic skills, content knowledge, healthy habits, and sound decision making. In the process of learning, we encourage students to think about various points of view and perspectives. We want them to leave Kul Shan believing that they have the skills, capacity, and creativity to lead fulfilling, productive lives and positively contribute to the community and the world in which they live. In acting upon our commitment to serve all students, our Vidyalaya staff members work together to care for each student as well as align our curriculum to grade level, district, and state frameworks supported by a rich base of materials and resources. We continue to grapple with the essential question: “How do we best support students within the school day who are struggling AND provide extensions for those who are ready or would benefit for them?” In tandem with our academic programs, we deliberately take steps to include students in creating a positive school community. Each individual student makes a difference in shaping a healthy learning environment - in classes, the activity rooms, the computer labs, and on excursion trips. We’re working with all students to help them develop the skills and attitudes that will facilitate them in taking leadership and finding productive solutions to challenges. We aspire for all students to feel important and to recognize that they influence what happens to and what goes on around them each day. Our student cooperation and leadership – both overt and behind the scenes – is outstanding. Students make us smile and we are glad to be a part of their lives. It is a privilege for me, as the K V O F Ambajhari Principal to partner with staff members, students and their families in continuing to shape a safe, challenging, and nurturing school that is full of life, energy, and productivity. Principal K V O F AMBAJHARI
